Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

There is NO GROWTH, just stagnation--"Growth has effectively stalled, leading to stagnation across the organization. The Human Resources team appears unable to identify or attract top talent, suggesting a lack of proactive effort in their recruiting processes. It is concerning that a department responsible for talent acquisition seems to have prioritized administrative ease over the critical work of building a high-performing workforce."

Anyone know why they would offer VSP then hire? It takes a long time to train and become knowledgeable.. or do they think they will get a much better workforce? I do see how this will help the company weather loss of member and revenue.

@a1 I was interviewing internally when the hiring freeze was announced; the positions that are posted now are not the same as before. some, but a lot are new. we went from 110ish last week to over 170 today.

I did notice during the 'hire freeze' there were very few roles posted, and all of them were upper management - BUUUUUT.... now, there are nearly 130 open jobs posted, with disclaimers of 'job posted on 7.13' AND, some of them, are for case management, Hmmmmmmmmmm

I have noticed this, although from what I can tell they're mostly director level and above.

There have been positions posted the whole time. I think there was a day where they took everything down (and there were only 7-8 senior positions listed) but many just needed to get reapproved again.
