I hate it here. I hate the politics, the chaos, and the daily stress, among many other things. But every time I update my LinkedIn, I get messages from recruiters who only see the brand. That's the strange bargain I've made - suffer through the dysfunction so I can leverage the PayPal name for my next move while it still means something. At least it should be good for something.

Terrible week too. My lead is always trying to sabotage me.
The real question is, how bad will Enrique and Jamie sc--w up the earnings call Tuesday? Once they give bad guidance combined with no offer from Stripe this stock goes directly to $40’s on Wednesday followed by $30’s by September. It will bleed out. The management and board are completely clueless.
@bm I thought they formally declined?
Limited time only. PayPal is good name to have on ur resume right now. but act fast and flex to a different company. PayPal started 25 years ago, and that generation will die off, hence Venmo adapting a lot of PayPal products as they prepare to deprecate PayPal sometime in the future.
@b2 I mean Stripe offered such a low amount and Enrique hasn’t responded so I’m guessing he’s considering the lowball offer. The guy is clearly out of his league and going to make a quick buck while being “CEO” for 4 months. Meanwhile, Jamie Miller will open her mouth on the earnings call and the stock will drop by 5%. It’s like clockwork as they burn up my retirement. I hate this company.
PayPal is done. People out there are talking about a "dying dinosaur". PayPal's reputation is almost gone, rightly so. No substantial and intelligent decision made by any CEO for years. It's too late for a turnaround, the ship is sinking.
Enrique is the only CEO who can get an offer to buy their company and he drives the share price down. What an absolute ja----s.
Thats an extremely slim silver lining which I would say brings very little comfort, if any, to anyone. If it makes you feel better that's great! Capitalise while you can. Good luck.
