Not exactly. My manager has been cool about not expecting us in, so I haven’t gone in. Well HR called him to ask why I haven’t been in and then called me. Told us both it’s not a valid reason and have 2 weeks to be in 3 days

Your manager complained and spoke with HR.. then they told him/her to call you (and say HR called). Haha! HR doesn’t have the resources to deal with it.. they’re understaffed and not prepared for the insanity that will ensue if leaders want to come down on employees about RTO because nobody is interested (96% of employees wanted more flexibility and damn near 70% wanted fully remote.. so not surprising). Let people be adults as long as they’re getting the work done. 2020 is proof we can do well in a wfh posture!

What are they saying on these calls?

HR called my manager and then called me.

We got our "call" long time ago. Return to office is nothing new. The real discussion is who is skirting around the RTO. Like coming in and leaving after an hour or two.

What was the call about?

But what was the call actually about? Seems like a generic subject line for the call but an ulterior motive or message for the call.
