RTO Compliance Reporting Coming Next Week

RTO reports will be sent to managers next week. Combination of badge swipes and VPN time for the Jan - March. Those not in compliance will be given a verbal warning. Reports will be produced monthly thereafter and continued failure to comply will result in termination.

Let's see the bank cut off their nose to spite their own face by firing people who don't comply with RTO. We already lost a ton of key people who haven't been replaced. There are lots more who are demoralized and probably ready to retire or leave. The CEO's plan to reduce headcount by natural attrition just means only the worst hopeless incompetent people with no options will remain.

So has anyone seen any reports or been reprimanded?

I honestly don’t know a single person (not saying they don’t exist) that has fully complied with RTO 3/2 8-5 sort of thing.

My teammates and I generally try to comply (I’d say 80 percent of the time we make it in 3 days a week) but there is usually a day or two we might work the last few hours from home to beat traffic.

If there is a deadline or a ton of work to be done I sometimes stay home that day (even if I’ve already stayed home two days) to limit distraction and stay focused.

Commuting is a distraction that can often break the flow of work.

My guess is that a majority of employees are going to be getting verbal warnings if they are super strict about this.

Also how are they accounting for things like weather events?

In my location recently we had bad weather and the office was closed 4 out of 5 days during a week at the end of January.

I also finding it shocking that some people haven’t returned to the office at all despite being called back. Makes me wonder if I was an id--t returning last march when I could have had another full year at home?

@egz+1lRl9gx8 - yea, hit 'em where it hurts -- the Employee Survey!!!

they care more about those numbers than they care for us.

They got way more out of me working from home than they do in the office.

I say hit 'em hard!

It is all about who you know and what group you work for. If you believe anything else than you are just plain foolish.

Other financial institutions have been pulling reports RTO reports for some time now. Figured it was only a matter of time until BofA adopted some type of RTO compliance reporting. If you leave the bank, you're probably not getting away from 3 day RTO as it becoming the industry standard (not just for Banks).

My manager says RTO will be enforced by your manager's discretion. So if you have a cool manager, great. If not, you're screwed.
