Now that I look back at the events of the past few months, it is surprising how many of my colleagues have left, considering that it is not the easiest to find a new job right now.

My entire team turned over since the start of covid. The only ones left on my B3's team are the worthless ones that couldn't get hired anywhere else. Which btw are mostly D&I hires.
The malignant problem is the failed oversight for who gets considered for hiring or promotion into lower and midlevel management positions. This process has deteriorated badly over the past 10 years. Senior leaders seek to either hire or promote unqualified stooges or their favorites with poor people skills so they will never pose a threat to them. This is how they run their teams. There is no oversight or reviews of how managers got into their jobs.
Can't say that I really care. Most "friends or colleagues " never stay in touch once they leave.
I’m a contractor with in RIsk Finance technology group in CLT. I have seen most of FT employees moved to WF and many in the upcoming months.
Half the people I know here are seriously looking at other job opportunities outside the bank.
I can say out of my 5 floor building I know at least 20 people that either retired or went and found new jobs outside BOA.
I left a year ago along with about 4 others. We’re all now permanently remote, with better pay and a much better culture from what I can tell. Why stay at such a toxic environment and a place that blatantly lies to its employees.
Just leave. There are plenty of jobs available even with this market.
At least eight in the past 6-8 months (small team). Better pay, less work, or more flexible/WFH.
