Most likely buildings 1-6 will go away. It might take 3-5 years, but it will happen. They all sit together in the same parking area and they already cleared out most of the people in those buildings to sit in the others 7-8, across the street. Still a lot of lab equipment to deal with.
I heard RTP was being replaced by a tent and a cooler. Confirm/Deny?
The truth is, if I have a bias, it is only against lethargic, churlish yutzes who conceal information and, occasionally, blatantly lie. I am cognizant that barbarism is both a belief system and a material, institutional reality, but someone once asked me if we should appease Cisco’s RTP office by, just once, letting it expose and neutralize its nemeses rather than sit at the same table and negotiate. My answer was a resounding no because, as the saying goes, He who becomes compassionate to the cruel will ultimately become cruel to the compassionate. In other words, I honestly don’t believe that any act committed in the name of justice is innately peaceful, no matter who gets permanently disfigured in the process. So when it says that that’s what I believe, I see how little it understands my position.
My VP's daughter who's my girlfriend told me RTP will be open for another 3yrs.

I was for the closing of RTP before I was against it.
I heard that RTP is having a grand re-opening in order to have another closing, so maybe there is some truth to what you heard.
And my manager told me that I cannot share here, whaaaat !
