Well. I guess they'll have to lay off all the pregnant employees who identify as female on maternity leave too.

Male and Female are not diversity. We live in wacky times.
This is typically something that a woman negotiates off of the books with a manager. They’ll be back in a year.
If you try to use the 16 weeks as part of the new family leave policy, you will be "let go" during your time away. I have seen 3 recent parents in my department attempt to do so and none has made it past week 8 thus far. A recent father opted to only take 2 weeks because he was afraid of being terminated with a new baby in the house and needing the income.
Obviously there was a reason they got let go . Are you that person or are you taking second hand information and spreading lies as usual
How is having an employee not show up for work "diversity'? I mean firing them would be the exact same thing except cheaper.
