Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Anyone else see/hear Congressional hearing, questioning FBI Director and what he let slip about BofA?

FBI Director, Christopher Wray, openly admitted that BofA hands over customer information all the time, w/o a warrant and even w/o even being asked to do so. One particular subject...any customer that makes a g-n purchase automatically has their personal info turned over to the Gov't. We already know this same behavior was done surrounding Jan. 6. Should NOT matter what side of the aisle you're on, we should all be able to see how insidious and dangerous this is...a complete breach of our customer privacy policy AND the U.S. Constitution. What have we become??

China or North Korea like. Government controls everything. Ppl are very impressed by turning the bank customer data voluntarily to FBI. Wow

I don't trust my employer and I wouldn't use one of our cards for anything. BAC has proudly stood for public/private "partnership" in which the people have no say and no rights. Personally, I never felt that the company should be using "America" in their name. It isn't a pro-American company.

Heard about it in the weeks following Jan 6th. Immediately moved every dollar from our retirement accounts. Keep low balances in checking and savings. How many customers had the FBI crawling up their you know what because they bought a coffee anywhere near the capitol on Jan 6th?

We should anticipate the govt knows everything about every purchase made with a debit and credit card, period! I mean what else are they doing with all that taxpayer money? It’s certainly not going to charity.

In regards to any 2A purchases, all legal purchases are made via a standard background check through the FBI. This should not surprise anyone, you’re on a list somewhere.

The banks are not our friends and neither is the government, rather they should be viewed as an adversary, this goes for both sides of the political isle. They are opposite sides of the same rotten coin. It’s a big club, and you’re not in it!

As it is, in famous Texas fashion, COME AND TAKE
