We are still hiring remote when we cannot find people in our footprint.
CAO was told they are pausing the in office requirement for 12/18-12/31…… nothing about more in office days in 2024.
This 5 day thing sounds bogus. Not a peep from any managers town halls etc
Five days? Really? What am I going to do with my extra two days a week off???
Why are some of us expected to show up while others aren’t? And how can we be hiring for permanent work from home? I’m sorry but this doesn’t make any sense.

Stop spreading rumors. There is no announcement on 5 day return.
lets not forget that email from BE back in april about moving to 3 days was literally sent out a week in adv to return. so the 5 day email will be sent across on christmas. they dont care
Sites closing. The sites that remain only have capacity for 50-60% on any given day. A not insignificant number of folks have schemed perm WFH deals. Mandatory 5 days a week? Yep, checks out.
It's going to be hard to return to the office full time in places where they're only allocating 6 seats for every 10 people.
Anyone who has been living under a rock for two years, ignoring warnings to return and still feels that they’ve never been notified that they need to to return to office is likely to be displaced with no SUB.
Failing to return to office is quitting your job.
Although I would not put it past the company to try this, I highly doubt this is accurate. I've seen no announcements, and have heard no reliable evidence. If there IS a mandate to return to office more than current levels, they will have to give some reasonable notice. Still, it's a worry in the back of the mind for sure.
We’ve seen this coming for almost 2 full years. Of course you better have childcare and/ or commute solved. It’s back to work and it’s tracked and it’s measured,
We’ve heard this a few times now. Moving to 4 & 5 days in office , after Labor Day, etc…..This rumors been wrong so far….
And the army of WFH gets a free pass?

This is conjecture. There have been no company wide announcements.
Unless there’s an email stating as such I’m going to take anything related on this as heresay and conjecture.
