Why not start a job search?
Look for WFH and decent pay. It’s a hot jobs market wit lots of open opportunities.
In an era of flat merit increases (rumor is there will be none in 2024) WFH is a 'form of compensation' that can be used to rationalize the absence of pay increases. (Workers see WFH as equivalent to an 8% raise.)
