Has anyone gotten a Required Remote Inspection - Virtual meeting request? We have no idea what it’s for.

Hopefully everyone here understand that this never happened.
You need to decline that. My house is my castle. We teach kids not to open the door for strangers. If someone comes anyway as far as I’m concerned you have the right to call the police. That’s completely out of bounds. If they try to take action you almost certainly have a case.

That’s infuriating. I work so much from the butt crack of dawn till the wee hours of the night. Some days, I’m really rolling out of bed with my hair in knots and in my damn PJs. That’s what work at home days look like for me because I’m working CONSTANTLY to the point where I feel overworked and taken advantage of. If I receive a remote inspection, I will scream.

They probably just want to check the batteries in your remote in case you have to pause netflix.

Seriously, if metrics are showing low output they reserve the right to inspect your home office environment.
I would create "noise" about privacy concerns. I am unclear how one can "peep" into our house/remote work space. Pls keep us posted
