On the homepage, there is a link to iin- office exception reporting. Within that page it talks of tracking whether or not you’re in office via in-office connectivity. Also claims they are not tracking hours connected….. just whether you connected in office or not rather than badge swipes

And people here wonder why Robin rightfully does not trust employees?
He inherited a spoiled workforce that views full time WFH as a birthright even though they applied for and we’re hired to work in the office.
The powers that be knew that employees were swiping in weekends or swiping and then turning around and going home. If you want to see your in office stats ask you manager to show your dashboard only. It isn’t confidential, I show my team their colors every week.
And now the administrative burden of CYA falls on us as opposed to mgmt as it originally did
Get over it. If you’re doing your job why do you even care and why are you worried what’s tracked. They’ve been able to track your movement so it’s not new
If you really don’t want to work why not just leave and spare us the carping.

I’ve loved working at every job that I’ve ever had, and BNYM was one of them for a long time. When I didn’t I moved. I will never understand why people stay at a job in which they’re miserable.
Get back into the office 5 days and stop crying. People that don't come in should be fired, simple.
You are missing the point of the update. There are now a number of categories that fall under in-office exception which can be leveraged when applicable (inclement weather, transit issues, personal matters etc.)
Yep, tracking us via in-office connectivity now.
