I’m a software dev . Are layoffs going to affect eagle investments ? It was communicated to us not to expect the bonus and raise for this year. Any info on this

Why not look for an even higher pain position in the company.

What are these “pain positions” which you’re referring to.

You all couldn’t be University of Phoenix graduates misspelling “paying” positions as “pain” positions could you?

Better yet… I think that it’s entirely reasonable for I worked for a company in the past that was having layoffs in certain areas and they gave us the option to either take severance or take a similar pain position within the company… So yes, this person does sound rational

I actually think that 5qt should reach higher.. it’s entirely reasonable for him to request an even higher pain position.

Eagle is going to be hit particularly hard since they are actively being shopped and senior management wants to keep expenses as low as possible for prospective buyers

Exactly, @1dtn. When most sane companies eliminate positions they actually encourage employees and help them find a match for a job opening they have.
@nrx, other than not having access to the intranet, there's nothing preventing you from applying of other jobs at BK when you're fired.

Bnym don’t allow internal transfers. Makes the department look bad, they rather lay you off and have the reqs open for half a year+

They won’t give you that option and even with open reqs they won’t put you in one which is ridiculous when they cannot get them filled
