The firm is quietly letting lots go. Rumors is over 5000 people. They are doing it very quietly and as such the press hasn’t gotten wind of it.

EC - I hope you sleep well knowing that you cause all this in a desperate attempt to get bigger bonuses, take better trips and secure your generational wealth. We all tried to do the same too. Our families matter too. You’re a communal disgrace.
Even if the projected numbers listed here are true, that would only be feasible if the company were being sold or merging.

The week of Sept. 16th is certain. I have not been in meetings talking about 5K or anything definitive. But, it will definitely be a more ambitious reduction than other events we have seen recently this year. Hiring reqs are being finalized this month for Poland and India. NY, MA and Pitt are frozen. It’s about payroll cost and benefit reductions. You could be a genius efficient Lamborghini diablo of a performer but they want to go Bajaj Qutes and quadracycles. Projects will simply get put on hold and there will be manual oversight. It gives senior management a new vital purpose too- bully the low grade front line staff everyday.
September is for real. High percentage. Names chosen by nameless people-no management involvement. Lay offs are horrible and designed to make you feel less. You aren’t. It’s very hard but stay confident in yourself and your abilities. They truly do not know what they are about.
There will be layoffs in Sept. Expect them from at least Oriskany people.
@dmz - An additional 40+ people we're eliminated from CNY in the month of June without a second WARN notice, I wouldn't be so confident.
What is the source claiming there will be 5000 laid off? I know there is a hiring freeze in NY and in Pitts.
Folks I get that there are layoffs but 5000 won’t go under the radar,per warn notice in 2024 30 from NY and 62 employees in NJ were let go(official) and they might have done lots of smaller layoffs in frequent small numbers to avoid reporting but 5000 doesn’t cut..don’t spread rumors
Nothing like offshoring crucial too big to fail companies. What could possibly go wrong?
We have already lost a significant portion of our team in the US, while adding college hires in India.
Being told the goal is moving all development work to India in the next 18 months with a skeleton management and operations staff in the US.
