Not sure if y’all noticed that if in India they stopped hiring full time anymore. I would say 95% percent of them are contractors….

Maybe they’re anticipating a future reduction in positions in India from AI initiatives. Easier to let temps go.
BNY is an international company based out of the US.
Are there coming changes with pension and retirement schemes in India that might make the firm not want to hire full time?
This makes no sense. Unless it was IT development work, they were always our own people. They were always from a subsidiary of BNY.
As an American, I just wanna to work with Americans in an American company. Is that too much to ask?
