Since the doomed ending of the Eagle company. It’s not a surprise to hear this office will be closing. Why the secret? Tell the staff where they will be moved to so they can plan. Especially since RTO is such a highly monitored topic.

I thought BNY was spinning off Eagle to sell it.
"Wellesley closing is a pretty poorly kept secret. I spent a good chunk of my career in that office." - I'm working there now. Didnt know it was closing. Any idea when the lease expires?
I don’t think the Eagle company is ‘doomed’ since new clients are signing and other clients are signing extensions.
The Wellesley office may close when the lease expires, but employees will just go to Boston or Westborough.
Wellesley closing is a pretty poorly kept secret. I spent a good chunk of my career in that office.
Eagle has the longest average employee tenure of any division within BNY so the compensation package given to those laid off has been presented as a cost center problem to senior management. Goal is to get more employees to leave voluntarily so compensation increases in 2025 will be almost non existent, promotions minimal, return to office days increased, and any little thing they can find to push people to leave. Doing so is more cost effective to corporate.
They should be closing cr-ppy NYC or one of the two PA buildings. Especially when one is mostly empty
What line of business in Wellesley office?
How many employees in Wellesley office?
What do you mean by the end of the Eagle company?
Just like all the other sites that aren’t growth centers…. Unless you love this company and want to seek a position at a growth center: Lake Mary, NY, Pitts, you will be laid off at some point in the next 2 years. I for one will not relocate for this company. Can’t move/ work for a company I don’t trust. I’ve heard of people who switched roles and were still laid off two weeks after starting the new role. So I’m just waiting for my package.
I’m assuming that, like with other recently closed offices, the staff will be moved to the unemployment line! Apparently, BNY is at “capacity” when it comes to WFH!
