Hopefully, this time, those overpaid and ineffective managers will be let go.

Both yall been on the wrong side of technology for way too long. The minute Elon got the ok to put his Sats 300 miles away, the writing was on the wall. Then ATT picked you to the bone and you lost Sunday Ticket. The debt load between the 2 amounts to failure as far as viability is concerned with the finance world.5 years neither of you will be around, that’s the stark truth.Better bone up on your fiber splicing…

Still nothing new about a merger. Layoffs in general can happen whenever.

Layoffs typically happen in Q1 and Q2 when I was there.

Satellite transmission of content is going nowhere fast as streaming is cheaper in the long run with the same result. DTV/Dish are the VCR's of the 21st century.

a very bad outcome for both companies. Dish will likely have to file for bankruptcy protection soon. DIRECTV will continue to hemorrhage subscribers, it will not have any more scale to renegotiate content deals. This will likely accelerate more layoffs throughout 2025. A very bad outcome. But don’t worry, because the executive team will continue to collect on the million dollar plus tranche payments annually while cutting cost and laying off workers. Thanks Bill for the great management.
