Landmark Admin Data Breach-800,000 People Impacted

In early 2022, MoA bought Landmark. They rebranded into Truspire. Landmark Admin had a massive data breach this year impacting 800,000. There are many lawsuits over this. Now, MoA is attempting to divest from Truspire as it has been a total flop. Countless millions spent and focus taken off the ball to build out what industry experts and rating agencies said would be difficult to begin with. The $64,000 question is: how much legal liability does MoA as it relates to the Data Breach ? When was the Board Informed? Did the former Executive Team cover all of this up ? Before MoA bought Landmark, did an audit of their security and system take place during the due diligence phase ? Many questions and no answers. It's all hush hush. MoA policy holders deserve to know if MoA has any legal liability whatsoever over Landmark Admin data breach. If none, come clean and let the policy holders know.

Did this situation lead in anyway to the recent job cuts impacting 100 innocent men and women who have given their lives and sacrificed working 60 hours per week with low pay all these years. God Bless these people. They were the backbone of the firm until they were fuc*k.'d

Has TruSpire written any new business? Has the Bermuda Reinsurer done anything?

What were they thinking when they bought these?

You are over-reading the issue with the EX VP Head of Internal Audit. She is walking away with millions, and I mean millions, after 8 years. Stock Market is up. Time for her to cash in. Cha-Ching $$$$

Sources tell me that the Head of Internal Audit just tendered her resignation. Allegedly, there were so many irregularities with the SoC1, misplaced and misdirected customer funds, account fraud attempts, and potentially huge lack of IT due diligence over Landmark. Excessive focus on Reinsurance RE in Bermuda and the like. All of these issues would have driven even the most stoic of auditors to drink.
