Does anyone know when employees will be notified of promotions?

Promotions are announced Mid January along with compensation
Post ID: @fnq+1wanuh4P Is exactly right. I was pushed into a new role and will be doing the job for 23 months before they “potentially” promote me. It’s a completely different set of responsibilities from what I was doing.
At that point is it even a promotion?
Seems more like BNY getting away without properly compensating an employee for their roles and responsibilities for 2 years. This has to violate some labor law.
My manager's promotion was announced this week.
General rule of thumb: Compensation in January. Terminations mid to late January. Promotions by end of February. Late February, announced to wider audience.
Hopefully, they decided on your promotion by Sept 2024 or the promotion conversation will consist of "we're promoting you, but not giving you anything for another year"
The layoffs and reductions are more important and of higher value. Promotions and recognition are a very low priority therefore later on.
