I was laid off in Feb of this year and have to say that the company wouldn't be that bad if they had the right management. The bank is all about who you know and not what you know. One manager was somehow saved in Feb even after the group was dismantled but their job was saved, so a manager with no direct report?!? C'mon. It's never good that anyone gets laid off but I do have to admit that I was happy to hear that some upper management was let go.
