FASTL. What does the F stand for??

One of our ASTLS was in an accident. Really dumb individual. Has been gone over a month. Hope she doesn't come back. Shift leaders who are eager to get into FASTL are all about taking on shifts. West Loop is a sinking ship.
I've seen both ends of it useless and very helpful........but I think after the holidays many stores may be cut down to one, then the TL's will be stuck doing Shifty shifts more often ;/ Therefor taking away another team member from a team in need ;/
Yes! Most of astls are worthless and lazy!! We have 2 that all they do is hang out in the office, 2!! They don't help out in departments , or at the very least walk the store and interact with TMs.. must be nice to get a bonus check for that.. And departments are having to cut labor!? and why does a regional president need 2 VPs? Even the US president gets one lol... handful of regional coordinators for one team? Sheesh
we have one in our store who sits in the office and watches us on camera all day versus actually "leading" or "mentoring" us..and forget about being present for the customers or "business"...loves catching team members not using cut gloves on camera then takes a screen shot and writes people up all the time...terrible style of "leadership"...
ASTL's are an absolute joke. They do nothing.

If you think that is a "worthless" position than you really don't know how a store works.
We have three ASTLs at my store at the moment because of the FASTL program.

Not sure when, if ever. But it has to be the most worthless position in in Company.When I see an ASTL actually HELPING TMs on the floor,(God forbid)kinda want to get a picture of it; it's like spotting Yeti or a snow leopard. National Geographic would pay top dollar for that stuff..
