If you are ready to go and want the package, maybe a subtle hint up your chain of command. Who knows it might work. Tell them you are ready to "take one for the team".

On second thought that might be a terrible idea. Who knows. Your manager is probably on the chopping block as well.

Be an adult and take charge of your career....wow. .Im 62 years old , 26 years with this toxic company (thanks to a merger 11 years ago).

This statement sounds like it came from some young know it all (with zero banking knowledge, experience or skills) punk in their 30's who is ready to become a typical back stabbing BAC manager who is being trained to treat everyone like shit and micro manage them to death. Its funny , one of my co workers who is close to my age and a very intelligent person, says the older experienced people have forgotten more than what these people know now. Oh i forgot, they have fresh new ideas! And when you challenge them with facts and figures the are trained to answer back "thats a good comment BUT......

@FL1e1E0-2kbu - "Be an adult and take charge of your career."

Spoken like one of the morons who run this place. The bank has many qualified people who desire nothing more than to make a difference. But the top is hell bent on turning the place into a circus.

I for one say a prayer nightly that I will be in the next round - if not today it's going to be tomorrow. Let's just get it over with today! Resume is updated and Im ready to move onto the next chapter to a company that values its employees.

It has been apparent in many cases talent, experience, ability, value, performance all too often does not matter in people selected. Many people are less than stellar performers but there are also some associates who are people who are great performers and one has to assume have received great reviews and recognition in their past. Given that results obviously are not going to shield you, why would you continue to go above and beyond in this climate? Only answer I can see is one has nothing better to do between now and receiving a package so work is as good way to pass the time as any. I would plan to throttle back the effort at least until the bank puts a stop to this shit or until I have package in hand. Of course if it ever does stop I assume I will never look at this job as a long term endeavor ever again, always be waiting for the next round, and well, they probably know that so why would they stop and keep any of the current folks around. As someone has said before on this board - this company culture is toxic.

Do not believe for a single minute that any past performance including your recent review will have any relevance in protecting you. Work from home...go home. It's a race to best in class measured by how fast they can drive the ship to the bottom of the sea.

I got it last year a week after my review so probably next week. After I got a great review and a bonus with the annual increase. Then.... pow. Mywork people should not be making any long term plans.

The good news is that BAC has a pretty decent compensation package if you've been there a while.

It seems silly to let people go after giving them a bonus. I heard back and am getting a bonus this year (yay). But alas, I'm on Mywork and am perpetually waiting to get the bad news to come back to the office.
