Date confirmed for relatively large layoff in Addison and others in GT&O on Tuesday, Feb. 23. Another to follow in March. Leaders were asked for employee lists two weeks ago, lists were finalized last week.

It's so upsetting the way corporate America works now. The more employees that leadership cuts, the more money they make. It's terrible knowing that execs are rolling in the money while thousands of people have lost jobs at their hands.
Besides Addison, what other sites will be impacted today?
Have a personal friend in HR at BofA who told me they were going to TX for "meetings" this week. I'm betting they need a lot of people to "break" the news to folks. Meanwhile....upper management just bought a new boat with their bonuses, plus some.
I got my lump sum payment basically the next pay period (so 15 days after I decided to go with the lump sum over installments). On a side note, I did this end of last year when I was laid off, and had taxes taken out and they did a decent job estimating it, so that's something.
For those who will be laid off, does anyone know how long it takes to receive the severance package (if lump sum if chosen )?

There are no freebies in this world. Make sure you get paid for working Overtime - exempt or non-exempt employees. It's the LAW....

Which dept will be let go?As far as I know the CRMs will desegment to be doing 1st liens not only helocs,some CRM teams will be restructured,but not let go.Lots of people are on LOE anyway,so they may be let go after they come back.But Im expecting mngment layoffs.Either way,its not looking good.It never did.

So Kathy Bessant continues to promote cost savings changes right? How about cutting the corporate travel budgets and for those "absolutely necessary" not allowing purchase of alcoholic beverages? Leaders would that sounds too hard so you would just keep firing people left and right but not cut anything that affects your corporate habits.
They have already hired your replacements. Notice new people walking around? That's them. Lower band and less pay.
