Is severance still 2 weeks pay for every year of service! If so, I will gladly volunteer!

To those who say they are hoping they are on the list.. just ask your mgr for the package and take the hit for someone else who wants to stay. Your mgr will appreciate it.

What is really interesting is many associates list an office address in some cases for a state they don't even live in. Just a way for managers to play games for the "favorite" employees. Take a look for yourself in Connections you will be suprised of how prevelant this is... And do you think anyone actually follows up and checks this?

GTO is a disaster at this point no direction and very little information. The slogan one team is not true more like look at me see what I can do including keeping certain employees out of the information loop and slow character assassination.

Been here over 5 years worst I have ever seen it.

Upper management claims they want to hear problems but they don't all just a shame.

My advice find another job Bank does not care about their technical resources. Just a slow bleed on good employees until their time is up.

I'm a low-level peon under Berens. I'll tell you that much.

In my team, the current mywork associates were called by my manager and our group manager yesterday to tell us "my work is not an alternative the bank will continue to provide as a benefit." For me I had the option to agree going back into an office space or take a severance. I was given a week to think about it. If I agreed to go back I have to relocate 2700 miles away from where I live now....completely insane so I'm taking the severance and hoping to find another job during my severance period....I only regret having work for this company so hard for the last 17 years. I will be taking the March 15th plane.

My boss told me in so many words off the record. They started having me train someone else on my job functions, so I asked.

Come what may, I hope they're at least decent enough to offer a severance package.

I'm just too old for a career change, but too young to retire. I need to start prepping up my resume again and refresh my LinkeIn profile ;)

I know quite a few people in both Addison and Plano that want the layoff. Praying I get picked. Tired of upper mgmt BS. No one wants to give 100% when there is no appreciation. Associates are just living from one Tuesday layoff till the next.
