hi, we appreciate all of your dedication schlepping in here through a snowstorm because we need to be open for 8 hours so we can sell maybe 100 items and shrink tons of pFDS, but make sure none of the team members stay over 4 hours.....thats right, make them leave so that no is paid for 8. if they work over 4 hours, we have to pay them for 8 and you see we're in a labor deficit because our sales are down..maybe we could fix the orange juice machine with the savings, it's popular, but won;t be back until next period because we're a 15 billion dollar company, but so decentralized, we run like a small business and we don;t have any money for you to fix things until after we satisfy wall street this quarter with our dismal earnings. so we're opening late and closing early, but we want no one here on a short shift to be paid for their dedication and effort, make sure they are out in 4 hours....what? huh?we don't care if they have bills to pay and family to feed, we have labor to make so get them out of here in 4 or under!!!

That one reason I finally had enough and got out of retail. It's horrible how they make you put yourself at risk by going in under adverse conditions. Even the freakin army shuts down posts when roads are "red".
