This wasn't about time and attendance, this was retaliation and let me explain why. I requested my file from Wholefoods because I really wanted to know how I was really terminated and I sat up all night and went thru it and found two corrective action papers with my signature forged on it for job performance and everyone in that store knows that's the last thing I would ever be in their office for is job performance when I go over and beyond for my job and they don't even dock the ones that don't do their job, RED FLAG. The other corrective action was for time and attendance and what was funny about that one is that it didn't have a witness signature and my signature contained an extra "i", it was just that obvious. Since I been at that store, I only had two corrective actions and that was for time and attendance and something else by my previous STL and my current ATL and it was neither of the two who terminated me but the STL signature was on the job performance corrective action the same month in (Oct 2016) that he gave me a 6 month raise for good job performance, (RED FLAG). I guess they thought I would do like the others that got terminated for no fault of their own and go find another job blaming myself but I know I followed proper protocol, always read my gig book, and did what I was supposed to because I knew what made Wholefoods stand out from other grocery stores and that's their core values and their team member happiness and excellence. I order store supplies, I was a stretch and flex leader, I was a team trainer and was even asked to lead my team or be a point person before i was terminated but I never agreed to it because I said to myself after that job dialogue, "why would you want someone that you feel like is intimidating, look mean, and scary to lead your team or be a point person". I was asked to be a leader by my current STL and TL days before I was terminated. I never thought I would be separated from Wholefoods like this and really don't know how heartless people sleep at night and how these people get to have a high position with Wholefoods and this how they treat the dedicated team members when there's some that can care less about this job. It wasn't just a job for me, it was my career and my life that my mom signed me up for in 2014 because she knew what I loved to do and she knew at the time I was doing what i hated to do but know how to do well and that's be a hairdresser, that was my blessing but not something I wanted to make a career out of because I wasn't happy doing it and made more money doing hair than what Wholefoods paid me but I loved what I was doing at Wholefoods and the pay was OK so I was fine because happiness is priceless and I'm not mean or intimidating, very professional and built relationships with vendors and other companies I had to deal with but good team members is not what Wholefoods want and I blame the store from hiring these monsters and keeping them there because I still believe that Wholefoods could be a good company but there's some cleaning up to do because I bet Cruella has the most hires and fires in that one store compared to all the regions put together. I don't see how she sleep at night with the way she treat team members and have made many cry, stressed, depressed, and quit while she run around the store all happy banging all the married top leaders in the store while making other people life miserable instead of supporting team member happiness and excellence but I'm still praying for her and praying you made it to the end of my story. The way some people respond to errors in people life should be ashamed but of course this is an anonymous site so I understand why. I feel like if you don't have good advice for someone at a time like this in their life then keep your ignorant thoughts to yourself. I worked with this person at Wholefoods and this new management did her absolutely wrong. She was an excellent team member. She was dedicated, always had good job dialogues, and was willing to help in any department. Anyone who knows her would have nothing but good things to say. The only reason she not here is because she voiced her concerns to regional and they found out and got rid of her. She was a good team member for 3 years ordering all the store supplies and training others. All of a sudden in one month after being back to work she's terminated. You negative people are sick on this site judging others. Can't no one judge but God and she's probably a good mother than your mother ever been while people keep thinking she can't afford to take care her kids. Her kids are well taken care of because every woman has a back up plan. A--holes
There are 3 files on every employee. You can look at only one of them with pbs there...take notes etc.
We are supposed to give TMs a copy of anything they have SIGNED if they ask for it. Anything else in file is ours and not for them to copy or even look at.
I've asked for copies of my file, and it wasn't allowed. I was allowed to look at it and take notes while the pbs stayed in the room with me. I was told that is company procedure.

Employees of any company have the legal right to a copy of their personnel file. What is BS about that?

As a tl I can tell you records and steps are taken when you receive a write up or termination. Someone can't just falsify write ups and place them in your file. I'm amazed at all the bs on here. What kind of person gets their rocks off posting this kind of stuff to scare people?
I would consult with a good employment attorney----most will offer a free consultation and give you a hopefully honest assessment of your case. Or, perhaps you should just cut your losses here and say good riddance, especially if your husband's pay is covering expenses. I concur with other commenters who describe the STL as a psychopath. These types have a knack for getting into high level positions because they don't play by the rules and will stop at nothing to gain power/money. Decent people often don't know what'sh-- them because it's hard to understand people like that, but just realize they do exist and don't blame yourself. I worked for this company for many years and saw a lot of 'leaders' like that. There is life after WFM. I think the company may end up going bankrupt anyway so best to just move on with your life. Hey @MwJLtDz-thf, it is quite obvious from your post that you are an attention starved person that lacks anything interesting about your personality. Therefore, you resort to putting other people down to make yourself feel better about yourself. I'm sure you were quite pleased with yourself and your witty response to a person who is seeking some real information here about their concerns. I would say that I hope one day someone might find you interesting for something that you actually have to "offer" the world but I don't. I am sorry that you don't like yourself because I'm sure you are all you have.
Sorry about your situation. The explanation is a little confusing for me. You claim to have had two corrective actions during your time there and also claim there are two (forged) corrective actions in your file. Net result is two actions so an honest lawyer would suggest maybe your memory is foggy.

The bad comments I look over because you don't know me so just to inform you; I am a single mother of three kids and they have a great father so therfore they are taken care of without Wholefoods so plz don't bring my kids into this. I put this post up for support because I know there's someone that knows more about this company than me. I didn't expect stupidity but I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion so I'll just pray for you whoever u are and for future reference, I did finish college. You shouldn't judge a female and think she can't support her children or spell because of her situation. This is an online website, not an school essay that she's being graded on. I truly feel for you. You drank the Kool-aid that we all did.
But it might be better, if you work in grocery, to keep your legs together and not have babies that you can't afford and also go to your local community college and get some refreshment on proper grammar. If you used that syntax in a letter to Regional, they all shared it and laughed. That is how awful they can be.
It's a Sh-- company who violates Labor Laws and the rights of their employees. Get a lawyer, they have been sued thousands of times!! I know someone who worked for these F---ers for 25 years, they fired him, wrongfully ( over 'personalities & politics'), and THEN had the sheer Audacity to try and withhold Unemployment. He took them to court and he won! They are evil and will go out of business in the near future, so just sue them for wrongful termination, and emotional damages & hardship, and find something new & better.

Also from what you describe you have actual evidence of retaliation and falsification of records. Hold onto that stuff, and write down all the names, dates and situations while they are fresh in your memory. I would speak with an employment attorney and see if you have a case.
From what you describe there is a bona fide psychopath running your department and store leadership that's too weak to want to deal with her. I'm sorry her manipulation cost you your job.
You wonder how these people can sleep at night? Easy, they have no conscience. Unfortunately for them, they also can derive no true joy from life. Not from destroying good people like you, not from sleeping around the store, nor from any other action good or bad. So take solace in being a real human being and not a monster, and take your skills elsewhere. The pain will fade. Good luck!
