I took a continuing ed certification course at the local community college and now have a regular 9 to 5/M-F office job.
Less money than I made as a TL but so much less stress and drama, plus I get weekends with the kids.
So worth it and no more cult like mind games.
Tl's are dead meat with anu corporate sale or restructure..the pay is too high compared to the competition..they hope to "attrition"as many as possible and hire new ones in a different and lower pay scale
I do see it. I live it in fact. Sounds nds like it was more than you wanted to handle, and I understand why you chose to leave. I don't understand why you haven't moved on while trying to move on.
You'd be even more astounded if you saw the eggshells that TLs walk on daily trying to maintain team harmony and execute WFMs retail standards.
It astounds me that WFM is so in people's minds that they post things like this. Congrats! Move on.
