I can agree with that
@lyx, if you read the comment carefully, the Indians aren't directly being blamed for this f--- up, but rather the loss of the expertise - Indians are unfortunately the replacements of choice in most cases! Maybe someone 10 levels up has some idea of how this could happen?
I wouldn't blame it on my Indian coworkers since I have seen plenty of f--- ups from all backgrounds.
I Wonder what impact this has on our bonus. Is it gone? How about merit increases?
So we improved the bottom line by saving a few million dollars on those really expensive highly skilled developers by cutting them and getting a bunch of Indian replacements. Wouldn't it have been great if we had kept those guys and saved the $45 million dollars rather?
