Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

18 months severance???

I was told that the associates laid off yesterday were given 18 months severance, no matter how long their tenure. Could they be pulling my leg?

Just got laid off (6/18) from BAC Dallas GTO with 42 years of service and got 18 months of severance pay. Grateful for that.

2 weeks of severance pay for each full year service if less than 20 years. 3 weeks if 20 years or greater capped at 18 months
