The level of incompetence and laziness is rampant. Countrywide is back. Metrics and quality reviews are challenged until the reviewer finally bows their head and makes it green. Everything is smoke and mirrors. If one questions, like the Red Queen from Alive in Wonderland, all the guards of cards rally against the intruder. Snipes, harassment, impossible ever changing work assignments until they finally quit or lower their head in complacency. No one really knows what is going on, but they have perfected their smoke and mirrors ways. The emperor doesn't have any clothes, but ask a guard and the robes are emerald green.

What Does This Have To Do With Lay-offs!
This became so true for me. I am a 21 year veteran of BOA. In a meeting the other day that had my boss and several of his peers...I truly listened. They couldn't understand why they couldn't turn something green cause they fixed the one case that was found in the monthly sampled review. In the end, the poor analyst had to turn previous months to Green....even though they were a sample of the population. I hope this makes sense. They think if they fix the one account that was reviewed as part of the sample it means Green. And these are EVPs!!!! Am I dreaming? All these green metrics aren't real....

Yet again it's blamed on CHL, which essentially ceased to exist 10 years ago...hmm ken Lewis wanted it, got it...and the ineffective BAC management by committee still acrews up and still points the finger in that direction. Wake up people CHL died years ago. Take responsibility for what the current leaders have created

Not just BoA. It's going on everywhere, in an all out desperate attempt to hold the economy up as long as possible. 7 year car loans, liar loans, your cat gets mailed an approved credit app for a Visa, and on and on it goes.
We are in the last and greatest bubble of world history, not a "recovery."
