In which California location were you laid off?
Is there a way to find out how many were laid off? Under the CA WARN Act they must give a 60 day notice if 50 or more people were laid off. I was only given a two week notice since I was notified on 11/15/17 and my termination date is 11/28/17.
Why don't you guys unionize instead of constantly whining ?
It makes sense to lay off now since no-one does anything during the Thanksgiving - Christmas time. Since no-one is doing anything and they are getting paid why not lay them off and use the time as part of the package - makes sense.
In previous years they laid off people the day before Thanksgiving.
NYC, the diversity capital, guess who got laid-off ...
Jax too
Which areas?
NYC
What location are the layoffs happening?
Happens every year, not news
reconfirm affected business units please and locations, however, doesn't suprise me typically they take action late 4th Q anyways in years past.
