Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Karma is a beautiful thing

Previous manager who laid off multiple people on my team apparently got laid off and showed up at a job interview at my new company. Fortunately the individual lacked the required qualifications and was passed over. Karma makes me smile.

@7cjg Good for you for being fair. Not sure I would have been able to do the same.

Cheers to you!

@QupoOLS-1fxe No I actually stayed out of the process altogether because I did not want to influence the outcome. I was relieved though.

@QupoOLS-1vfd Quite happy thank you and particularly pleased to have stayed out of the situation. And interesting choice of 50 cent words since that is exactly why I was relieved the person wasn't a fit. The person clearly delighted in the process of laying others off and even resorted to some snarky comments with several people.

That's not really Karma -- layoffs happen - even to managers.

Try less schadenfreude, you'll be a happier person.
