Both next? What do you think?

Teams won’t audit it will be like Christmas with the amount of things with incorrect tags so much free product will be given away.If they think teams will audit there own department they are out of there minds they can’t get the work done they already have on there plates.

There was a new addition to Datamonster today. It looks like they are trying to make it easier for anyone to report scanning issues. Now anyone can print tags (SLAW) and anyone can report issues in Datamonster. Its my guess that all that's needed is for customer service to cover a couple audits a week and there is no more need for SSS.
Everclean is rarely in the building they show up only occasionally. It’s the state that WF has to worry about they are the ones that give out fines. The thing I don’t get about the shelf scanning robots is how do they ensure a product is in the right place? The bar code is never on the front of the product so the opurtunity for TM mistock items is still there. Plus WF is so far behind technology wise those wouldn’t happen till like 2050.
Everclean already does weight audits. Plus there is this...

So how can technology replace SSS?Even with electronic tags they need to be checked for accuracy. Weight audits still need to be done and don’t tell me teams will do them they can’t get what they need to find already. Who will hire new TM with PBP gone the TL can interview but somebody needs to do the paperwork.
SSS & PBB are store payroll they will be next in line seems like no support positions are needed and can be replaced by technology
Most of the SSI are already gone only two left in the NA region. Not sure about the other regions though.
Ssi will undoubtedly be getting the boot. I’m certain TMS won’t be trailing far behind them.
Right. Ssi msi and sss, all different.
MSI and SSS are completely different,SSS is all about pricing MSI is about Software and Hardware.
Regional marketing was paid by regional. in store ga was a front end position store level paid by store. Same thing.
SSS is a store paid employee, on the customer service team. MSI is paid by global and is on the IT team. Their levels of access, job duties and the budgets they are paid with are different. Why would you say they are “both next?” It does not make any sense.
If the remaining SSIs get cut, I would imagine they will not get warning. They have admin accounts, passwords to other systems, and keys to server cabinets. A disgruntled SSI could delete anything from any computer on the entire global network. They would likely get zero notice for security reasons. It would not surprise me if they will be gone in July as well. I am not getting this information from anyone, just looking at the writing on the wall.
Way too many msi’s Per region they could be thinned out easily with no effect to stores
There are still some SSIs out there in remote locations. Those remaining will likely get cut before MSI/SSS. The MSIs cover huge areas now. It would not surprise me if the remote stores get absorbed into an MSI pod.
Sss does scan audits weight audits tag printing. They are supposed to hang the tags they rescan for error or missing. As far as I knew thought was 20 hours across the board. Depending on the store they are responsible for inventory setup and remapping the store. It all depends on the store you are in.
SSS was just given more responsibilities on change out days with the new global SOP. But even with that I don't see it as more than a 3 day a week job. If you're an SSS and you don't handle something else besides your core job (like receiving, cashup, tech support, or whatever you can find) then I don't know what you do with your time. Most regions have gone part-time already but not all.
Don't forget us receivers. Teams will probably check in and scan their own product.
The stores will get destroyed with fines without the SSS position. The teams do a horrendous job with tag maintenance and tares. I have worked in multiple stores same mistakes get made over and over again with no consequences. If they think the teams will do the audits that’s laughable they don’t even do there jobs correctly with there current workload.
I think Sss will go first, and that will be really interesting to watch. I don't see teams being as consistent about random weight audits. It will be a fun day the first time a store gets hit with major fines for inaccuracies of scale priced product.
As far as MSIs go, I think we're safe for now. All of these other positions that have been eliminated, someone else has taken up the work. Admin team leader work went to store leadership. Accounting went to customer service and receiving. SSI was split in to two jobs- SSS for all things price accuracy, and Msi for fixing things. Now that teams now know how to print tags, SSS doesn't have long. Sign making is the same deal- they were forced to train people to do their jobs and wait for the hammer to fall. Now, MSIs still do things that nobody at the store knows how to do (or lacks access to do). Reigning computers, aisle scanners, etc. Replacing equipment in the server racks. The GHD may be able to do some of this stuff remotely, so yeah, they can take over for some things. But the day they pull the plug on us, I will laugh my way to my severance knowing the first day a store goes down is going to be a nightmare for everyone in store.
If/when it happens, it happens. And it's OK. This place wants to keep kicking themselves in the d--k, and that's fine.
