This morning in our weekly meeting with management we were Informed there were rumors going around saying our department was closing in October 2018. Of course they immedy denied it and said there are no plans for closing our department down. In.my past experiences with layoffs this could be a red flag as denial was always the first thing when rumors of a closure or layoffs started. Anyone else have any information on this? Our department also has a location in Dallas, TX that appears to be much larger than Pittsburgh. We are also sending part of our work over to our India office too.

And yet, more and more work is sent to Dallas and India, especially India. And, nobody cares - this will continue and it's discouraging.
How can you work when you see that they are taking your work and giving it to someone else even though you are doing it so much better. And they tell you it's because you are expensive but you know you have difficult time making ends meet with the wages BNY pays.
Oh, my... Where is this country going.
