0lease comment the names of people who will be laid off on Friday in india. If you know and let that person know then he will be prepared for this career shattering decision.

2 months salary may be pretty generous. In the US, they get 2 weeks for every year of service. So they would have to work more than 4 years to get better than 2 months severance. And this is not guaranteed under any law; the company does it out of the "goodness of the heart," which means they can change it at will at any time.
