Quality of services offered will go down and the company reputation will suffer.
This company has a historical practice of laying off "Highly Paid" and "Seasoned" employees. They don't value LOYALTY, DEDICATION and EXPERIENCE.
They're incongruous upon the message they are sending to their active employees when time and again they get rid of older employees who have invested their loyalty and work experience to the company they work for.
Some of us have moved on, there are others who are actively looking for opportunities elsewhere due to the fear that they will be the next person who will be laid off!
This is the TRUE MESSAGE you are sending to your associates good luck building your reputation in the business community.
