Is there a cap on severance if you worked at BofA for say, 30 or 35 years? Or do they just make you miserable so leave on your own (or make up a "cause" to terminate) to avoid paying these days?

The severance program is on the intranet.
Same thing happening here too. Management giving the squeeze to get older associates out.
They'll try to make your life a nightmare before they'll ever concede to paying a severance. Worked there almost a decade, great performance reviews every year. Then they did everything in their power to make me miserable so they could hire a college kid for half my salary. HR and management is tone deaf and incompetent.
Co-worker let go last week. 30 years worked for 1.5 year severance plus 2 week notice left that day
Is severance spelled out in the employee handbook?
After you hit the 20 year mark, you get 3 weeks per year of service but it's capped at 72 weeks maximum.
when I got severed, I had 19 years of service.......2 weeks for every year max of 1 year only
