Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Bank of America Layoffs (2014 and 2015)

Is there a master plan for reorg of the whole company sometimes in 2014 or 2015. I heard that something might be in works and that BofA may move in late 2014 to execute layoffs.

We are to believe the economy is improving, we are to believe the housing market is improving, we are to believe there is only 5% unemployment, we are to believe all is well.

Malls are closing down

Banks are laying off loan officers

Manufacturers continue to layoff workers

GDP is lowest ever

Why do they continue to lie to us?

I worked 10 years and was laid off. We received 3 weeks of pay for every year...it was great. I worked another 14 years and got laid off last year...this time 2 weeks of pay per year...(my vested time is 25 years) however, since I was a full time my work program employee I now have no in-state contacts. Very frustrating...

Why is 2015 more important than any other year? Every year we have major layoffs but we hire a lot too.

So, what will be reorganized? I heard things like this for a while but nothing ever changes, BOFA remains to be a very slow moving entity
