U.S. Bank Eco challenge

I find it hilarious that the bank wants us to participate in an Eco challenge as if they actually care about the environment. Especially considering they are making everyone drive back into the office with their gas cars. Heck, I am even afraid to... — read more

What is everyone thinking about layoffs in April? GK is taking the reins, I'm sure she has been sharpening the axe. Also congrats to U.S. Bank for reaching 1000 shares on the layoff.

Workday Job History Mandatory

We are being required to enter our employment history in workday to ‘manage our careers at U. S. Bank’. Dates are required. I purposely omit dates on my work history over 10-15 yrs on my resume as I am older and I am trying to avoid being... — read more

Employee Appreciation Week!

At USB that means “Nice job” today and “You’ve been laid off.” tomorrow. Fake AF managing committee and their minions.

What happened?

I know everyone likes to say that when Andy took over that was the start of things going downhill but clearly there must have been other changes too. This used to be a company that people were proud to work for but now it just seems like everyone is... — read more

Running on empty after taking on too much

I wanted a safer job, so I kept saying yes, and now I’m basically doing the work of three people. Big mistake. Somehow, I get it all done, but my health is paying the price. Pretty sure I’m not the only one here feeling completely wrung out. — read more

Fact Check: U.S. Bank’s Claim Doesn’t Hold Up.

U.S. Bank states it’s the only U.S.-based bank with an 11-year streak as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies—but that’s not the whole story. Thrivent, another U.S.-based financial institution, has held this recognition for 14 consecutive... — read more

Useless Agilists

Has anyone been successful in getting an exemption from RTO approved under the logic that none of your co-workers or contacts work in the same office? If not, what reasons have been used to get remote work approved?

How does one "report" a high level exec?

Project Manager roles

Please spare the Project Managers don’t do anything jokes…but what is the best department to be a PM at the bank? I’m talking projects actually have some assigned resources, a chance of getting done on time, etc.

Land of D(ISS)function

In my lengthy tenure at the bank, I have found ISS to be a vile sycophantic ecosystem of bros and buds. Advancement had little to do with talent and impact but everything to do with who you came up with and the relationships you established with... — read more
