I heard a rumor that managers are being told they’ll be fired if they don’t enforce RTO. Can anyone confirm if that’s true?

Layoffs this week
Couldn’t sleep all weekend thinking about this week. I hope no mortgage layoffs
I just cant wrap my head around a lot of these comments on this board.
This is not the company it once was where they cared about their employees. They are outsourcing everything to India and quite frankly its obvious they dont care about their employees like they once did. The survey has become meaningless and I... — read more
Micromanagers and RTO
I am sick of the RTO and my is manager consistently bugging me to be a part of it to show leadership spirit. Can anyone tell if RTO will ever get reversed for the bank? If not, I have to look for a different job. My work in the bank takes a lot more... — read more
Back to work
To pull people back in line, the Fed has engineered a recession. Everyone should resume commuting to work and refrain from requesting extravagant extras like seeing their children. Talking to Johnny at the water cooler about golf is an important part... — read more
I am not paid enough to do all that work
Responsibilities are growing, workload is increasing and I feel very underpaid. Unfortunately, I have a feeling that if I stay here, I will become even more underpaid. Do those at the top really think that employees will continue to make... — read more
You lose cr-p-suite
You want me in the office? Ok I’ll do maybe 3 hours solid work on days I have to commute to the office vs 9 hours of solid work on days I work from home. Don’t expect me to ki-l myself in the office. Too many disruptions with people talking... — read more

Wrong people in leadership
There are so many of the wrong people in positions from the c-suite to mid-level managers. Sad that these are the decision makers who are often the reason people leave. So many managers and orgs have awful TTUS survey results and nothing is ever... — read more
People leave bad bosses
I received a better offer and submitted my resignation. However, I was ready to accept even a job with a smaller pay because I could no longer bear the manager's behavior. I don't even know how that person ended up in that position. I think that... — read more

Are we safe
Are layoffs over until new year?
Only way we win is if we don’t comply.

Work Work Work
I am sitting here typing a memo for my boss. Dang it, a typo, and I had carbon paper on it too. Dang, my girdle is pinching me. But I must carry on as I know my place in this company. After all, it's 1971.

Bring It Back
When I go back to the office, I want a typewriter, rolodex, rubber stamp, ho-e punch, stapler (red) and a file cabinet. Since we are going backwards with RTO, I might as well work like it's 1975. Dump the computers, and do everything manually. Oh... — read more
RTO..What's Next
Will they return to a dress code of business suits for everyone ? Why not throw in paper time sheets, how about a toaster for opening a savings account. I mean really, if we are going to go backwards, why not go all the way !!!!
No one is following RTO
Had to stop by the office today and I saw 2 maybe 3 people on my floor at the building I work in Minneapolis. I don’t plan on coming in either unless absolutely forced….
Layoffs this week
Any update if we have heard of layoffs this week
Collaboration is just an excuse
The people I work the most with are in several different locations. We collaborate just fine every day online like we did for the past two+ years. Collaborating at the office would change nothing except for where we sit - we would still have to... — read more
Whining About RTO is Being Naive About the Economic Winter
Layoffs during an election year do not occur until after the election. As soon as the elections are over, then we see industry-wide job losses announced week after week. To sit here and make up a phony grievance about the return to work, spare us... — read more
Putting lipstick on a pig

RTO related Exec Forum Nov 03 at 11am ET?
Who is planning to attend? I thought it is meant like an "all hands" but only some of us got the invite. It is based on department or on job code level/seniority? Can we provide email feedback in case we don't want our names in the open?

I’m out of here

Why are they laying off mortgages this month? Won’t we get busy again in spring
RTO shows U.S Bank's so called commitment to employees and to DEI is a lie.
U.S. Bank claims to desire diversity, but this RTO requirement shows that it really couldn't care less. All they care about is people who are able to get to the office, not the quality of our work. WFH makes full-time work more accessible for... — read more
Is there anything positive in RTO?
For now, I don't see anything positive in returning to the office, neither for myself, nor for this place, which will have a significant drop in morale, and therefore productivity.
Hey Elfio
I heard you were looking comfy working from home today all the while telling the HR department they’re going back to the office. Hypocrite. You’re an intricate part of the organism. It’s as----e.

I'm absolutely willing to let myself be fired over RTO
