Any tea on future of Digital Assets?

There was a leadership change recently and don’t see the point of two people trying to “lead Digital”. I’d put money on the new horse considering the old one is tired of running and beating around the bush all the while dreamin $$$ up (none of which... — read more

If we are back to the office, is it too much to ask that we have TP, toilet seat covers & not have sh*t on the seats & floors. Good grief!

Hello, recent MBA grad here. I interviewed for a Lake Mary role, I’ll be moving to Florida if the offer is good. This is for a VP operations role and they said it’s level J so what should I expect? The range online is so hard to decipher 66k to 166k... — read more

Based at home layoffs

Has anyone heard anything about upcoming layoffs for based at home employees if not willing to relocate to strategic location?

Getting Laid off in Q4 25 will be really bad.

Would BNY negotiate to delay paying out severance lump sum to the following year to avoid hurting the employee tax situation? If you make $150k and get RIF in December, now you make $300k and taxes go from 25k to 70k. Crazy and messed up.

Over 40 and laid off? Know your rights.

According to the federal Older Workers Benefit Protection Act of 1990, if laid off as part of a RIF and you are over 40, the firm must provide you 21 days to sign the agreement, not 3 days. This information may come in handy if laid off in December... — read more

Bummy looking leader

How are we supposed to even seriously have any pride in this place when the leader looks like he’s been sleeping outdoors on a park bench all night? Rumpled, unshaven, poorly dressed, bad hair. He looks like he should be on a corner with a spare... — read more

This place toughened me up

I joined a new firm last year and although I’m happy, it definitely has flaws in how certain teams work together or don’t work together. Having said that, though, after dealing with BNY’s broken processes and toxic leadership, this is really a non... — read more

Why are VPs paid so little here?

I was looking on LinkedIn for BNY jobs and saw several VP roles based in NYC starting at 66k. The range goes past 100k but you know anyone who takes that job is going to be around 66k. Compared to other places, there are plenty of VP roles that... — read more

Worried about severance tax withholding

So I’m reading that the severance payment will be taxed around 40%. That’s insane! They are considering it supplemental income so right away there’s 22% withheld for federal, 7.65% SS/Medicare, and then depending on your state up to another 10%. NY... — read more
