It sure would be nice to see some responsible adults take over BNY Mellon and to right the ship. Someone like a JP Morgan or Chase. Problem is that those companies are smart, and wouldn’t touch BNY Mellon with a 10 foot pole. BNY Mellon and... — read more

Longer Days No Additional Pay

Anyone else notice they are expected to accept meetings at 7:00 am and 9-10pm with no other compensation on a regular basis? I don’t mind the one of request but at this point it is expected of me 4 x a week.

If you were forced to give BE’s

If you were forced to give BE’s, let HR know. I talked to HR on another matter and mentioned this to her and she said ratings are your managers discretion. HR is clearly not aware of what is going on. Obviously everyone is doing what their managers... — read more

MD level manager clearout

Grades M and S are going to be hit globally. 15% of heads will go in March. A statement to the market is being prepared. Investors are demanding cost controls.

This is blatant age discrimination

All of the people laid off in my department so far this year were senior level engineers and project managers, all earning 6 figure salaries. The first wave were people between the ages of 50-65, the second wave were people between the ages of... — read more
