My store has a new hire who acts like she has worked for the company for 20 years. We also have a new hire manager who said she will be CEO of Belk one day. Talk about delusional. Batshit crazy.

I do not understand how some people became managers, whats the requirements? Or is it about who you know, that you get the position? From my retail experience, it seems the best managers previously worked as associates.

This is beyond ridiculous, having six registers combined when only one person checks customers out. Just another show from Belk, and as always using associates to the full extent.

You can paint, put up new signs, move registers, change merchandise, profess to be fashionable and liberal, have continuous sales, but we all know what's going on Belk. You're grasping at straws.
