Heard recently that bp is trying to reduce costs by 20% YoY… Switching to a cheaper coffee for the office isn’t going to help enough. How else will they reduce the cost of business without cutting contractors and employees?

BP hired some people from big software companies. Has it helped the company? Is software work at BP similar to that of a pure software company? BP probably offered very good compensations to these people.

At my age, it’s hard to start from scratch and that’s why I hesitate to quit. On the other hand, I personally haven't heard that anyone regretted leaving.

I plan to be here just a little longer. True leaders would think about why now that oil is high the morale of employees is as low as it was in the midst of a pandemic when demand had fallen sharply as people stopped traveling. Just saying.
