How much would be enough for you?

Do you think what we are getting as severance is enough? What do you think would be enough for you to leave this place "with no hard feelings," to put it like that?

Earnings tomorrow

I’ll be interested to see the Q2 earnings tomorrow. I think we’re the last super major to release results this quarter. Results for the others have been all over the place. I guess I’m mostly interested to see if trading offset our losses and if we... — read more

No transparency in reorganization

Do you want to know how messed up bp is???? The entire company is reorganizing from top to bottom and every job is being reviewed, but NO ONE is allowed to apply for a job. Leadership is going to place people in new roles. And they refuse to say what... — read more

Folks leaving, what will you do next?

I’m in my early 30’s and am considering the jump (if I am retained come September). What’s everyone else’s plan? O&G feels like it will never be the same and the current process has been anything but transparent.

Dividend

Mid year reviews

These mid year reviews should be interesting - considering that your manager has no idea what is happening with the reorganization, and does not even know if he/she will have a job. This whole process is such a joke - “behind the curtain” and secret... — read more

Who’s Next?

BP seems to be selling anything they can to get cash and manage their debt. What’s next? Canada? BPX? More downstream?

Why so quiet??

No murmurs? Gossip? Nada?? Starbucks leaving Westlake? Someone must know something!

Anyone else think they are closing Westlake?

14,000 US employees. 8,000 layoffs. That's about 58% of US employees. I think they might close Houston and have the skeleton crew work remotely or have the workload transferred to UK. No inside info. Just gut feel.

Take the EOI, BP does not care about you!

BP is a sinking ship. I am on my way out and looking forward to not receiving another political email. It’s crazy how much pandering this company does. Although playing like they care about carbon emissions, just to evade future carbon taxes is a... — read more
