It’s not even about Cisco per se. I don’t even care what state Cisco is in or where it’s heading. I have been here for too long. I’m burnt out, tired and bored out of my mind. I just need a change. Good luck to those who need this job, I hope you get... — read more

UK redundancy pay

Was anybody made redundant earlier in the year? If so what was your redundancy payout? With the next round hitting in a couple of weeks I'd feel happier knowing if there was at least a decent payout.

This one will be massive. I'm a senior director and we have been asked to ramp up the numbers by all means. As I understand it, we have to cut costs and the only easy way is to chop heads. This time management will be affected in a big way. I have... — read more

Good luck to UK colleagues next week

And good luck to us on the US-side. Media is reporting ‘thousands’ to be impacted next round. Any fresh information as to which areas in particular may be targeted?

Does Jeetu actually have a plan?

What is up with CX and Liz? We hear more shake-up is coming again... She is clueless and thinks she invented AI. Cisco is not an AI stock regardless of what switch (data center) they sell against Arista or NVIDIA. In Security, Palo Alto and... — read more

Splunk acquisition is a strategic mistake

Nothing has gone better due to this acquisition except laying off people. Not at all useful for cisco's core business. What cisco is trying to become next is something no one knows.

How much more stupid can you get?
