They invited a bunch of us into a big 15 minute meeting right after the check-in call. Very impersonal. Anyone know the size of impact? I asked around and it's hard to see which groups had the meeting. I'm in sales.

Has anyone had success negotiating a severance package with Cisco, for example, getting them to accelerate all your RSUs or more severance. I know some Splunkers affected and wondering if they should try.

It's never been clearer that's Cisco's biggest problem. Just completely horrible, incompetent leadership.

Just my opinion but I think the amount of acquisitions Cisco takes part in - most recently Splunk - makes it hard for Cisco to deliver continuously. Why can't we just stop acquiring and focus on the talent retention we have?

I got some hints from my dir this morning... my advice is for all TAC engineers G10 and below to start working on their resumes ASAP!
