Cisco Embarrassing Earnings Call Was Total BS

Chuck and Scott sounded ridiculous trying to justify layoffs when they are firing 15,000 higher cost US based employees and replacing them with 7,000 low cost India employees for net layoff of 8,000 and $1B is savings

Restructuring costs in GAAP vs non-GAAP earnings

It seems Cisco likes to report and predict non-GAAP figures rather than GAAP. Could it be because restructuring costs must be included in GAAP, but not in non-GAAP?
