There was a meeting a while ago where they said a female Engineer is so rare type, that they would never lay off one no matter what. Guess what? I'm G11 female Engineer, who was laid off today, being a high performer for 6+ years. Lol.

I joined as a G11, got promoted twice, and now I’m further from the CEO (in the reporting chain) than when I started. On my way out now and wishing all the best to all those with me for brighter days. They will come.

I'm both out of a job and in a job at the same time. Heard my manager was affected by the LR's this afternoon, confirmed when all 1:1's and team meetings were cancelled but still no word from him or anyone else. No idea if I'm affected yet..
