What is the value of keeping manual testers without knowledge of coding? They are too slow with handy work :)
@129 They RIF everyone not just automation QAs. It depends on the product team and so many factors. Automation QA brings a lot of value than non coding roles

@128 Manual testing is long gone. But they keep riffing the people who maintain and run the automated tests.

@js Why you need testing new products if they are written with AI. Infact Developers are already testers of AI.
So if they don’t exist anymore, how do you test the new products?

I've seen so many testers laid off in the past few years I'm honestly surprised there are any left.
QA and testers are the easiest to replace by AI as most testing is already automated anyway.
QA and testers in NA are too expensive and will be replaced by AI or outsourced in cheaper countries like India , eastern Europe
